And you’ve probably read one of our Organic Growth Reports, in which we chart organic winners and losers by industry. OAK realises organic growth for well-known, domestic and foreign organisations in the retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods/Consumer Packaged Goods (FMCG/CPG) sector. We are in the Champions League of organic marketing and we want to win it. We like to do it smarter, bigger and achieve ROI > 3 without exception.

What will you do as a Content Marketing Strategist?
As a medior/senior content marketing strategist at OAK, you will create content strategies for our clients that are data-based and drive (organic) growth. According to our multiplatform search strategy, this means mapping where consumers are searching, what they want to know and whether they want to see, read or listen. Together with our growth consultants, content marketers, SEO specialists and the client, you determine vision, growth direction and focus themes for the client.
You gather input, such as (search) data, business goals and marketing plans. And create a well-founded plan consisting of concrete templates and guidelines. You also ensure that the strategy and way of working is adopted by the client.
Clients are cool, well-known brands and the issues range from local to international. And from a strategy at channel level to organic channels in the broad sense (Google, YouTube, social search).
What issues should you think about? Brand X wants to become an authority on topic/product group Y. How does content contribute to this? What do we need to create? And distribute it where? What resources do we need for this? And of course: when can we expect what results?

No worries, that’s fine with an e-NPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) of 13. Is a 13 high? Yes. That’s pretty high. And we are very happy with that. Because it’s important to us that our colleagues are happy.

What do we expect from you?
- You have completed at least a college education
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a content marketer
- Pre: worked on international content plans
- Pre: experience on agency side
Furthermore, you possess these qualities:
- You are communicatively strong and possess natural powers of persuasion. Able to advise and consult our clients
- You understand the ‘outside-in’ approach and know how to communicate the content needs of the client’s consumers. And how to respond to that need with content.
- You know what makes content successful. And can explain and convey that well.
- Data-driven & result-driven
- Hands-on mentality
- Enterprising and curious about trends and developments in the (organic) content landscape
- You have a passion for the entire digital landscape and all new developments in it
- You enjoy guiding and training colleagues in content marketing

- Strategic partner for the client. You challenge the stakeholder and determine the short- and long-term direction
- Translate business objective into content objectives
- Create strategy, templates, guidelines and roadmap in line with brand and growth objectives
- Training the client (transfer of knowledge and skills)
