Making sure that Biodermal is visible to their (potential) target audience early on in the customer journey. In other words: to build online authority and brand awareness.

It was up to us to make Biodermal the number one expert on skin-related questions and terminology. Being the skincare expert, Biodermal’s goal was to give the most relevant answers and advice to online users. We helped them climb to top results in search engines on relevant keywords by using content (marketing).

The very first step: an extensive market analysis to map out relevant questions about skin care products.

Next up was the transformation of these questions and keywords into relevant content on the Biodermal website. To ensure that the content matched Biodermal’s brand values, we worked together in a hybrid team. Double win, because Biodermal’s team could soak up all of our SEO knowledge during the cooperation.

Together we created a data driven content planning. It resulted in 75+ pages about skin care that are optimized, relevant and evergreen.

The result

After the launch of Biodermal’s blog, their online visibility has increased significantly. The number of organic visitors has increased by 110% in two years. We also added links to partner e-tailers. That way visitors can immediately view and buy Biodermal products.

These links to partners, content that makes users likely to convert, and the correct use of internal links resulted in a 120% increase in conversions.

Biodermal is now also online an (organic) authority on skin care and is visible early on in the customer journey. The written pages rank high in search engines and remain increasingly valuable. Other channels will also profit from this: the blogs are highly relevant for social media and paid search marketing campaigns.
